Several weeks ago, during the surprise-of-my-life visit whirlwind, Travis took my mom, Lisa, and me to a very special place. It is called the Exotic Resort Zoo, and it is just outside of Johnson City (the hometown of Lyndon B Johnson, bully of the senate, passer of the Civil Rights Act, president, etc.).
It was amazing. I have been to places where you drive your car around and animals come up to the fence and see you, and even come up to your car. But at this place, you ride around in a big trailer that is open on the sides, and feed the animals with your own hands. I fed a buffalo. Travis pet a zebra. Mom fed an ostrich. Lisa stood by looking cool. Here are some videos of our trip:
